锘縒edding Dress Disaster Pretty in the Queen City

Choosing a wedding dress should be one of the most special times if your life, right?! Or so I thought! Englishman in the Queen City and I have finally decided to make it official with not one but TWO CEREMONIES. Hey, we have alot to celebrate!! Our first ceremony will be on April 5th at the beautiful Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. This will be an intimate ceremony with our children and a handful of very close friends. In December, we will celebrate with all of our friends and family. (including everyone from the UK!) That will be the BIG one. This is the joining of two families. Two very special families. Every single detail has been carefully thought out. even have two separate wedding dresses!

This past Saturday I went to a local David Bridal along with my best friend, my daughter and her best friend to search for the dress for my first ceremony and for my daughter dress. These dresses will be very simple as December will be the elaborate ceremony. customer service was absolutely horrible as soon as we walked in the door! was a Saturday, so I knew they be busy which was fine. We expected that. The first thing out of the greeters mouth was "DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT?!" I politely told her that we didn Instead of quietly speaking to us about either making an appointment or even telling us how long it would be. She immediately (and loudly) said " well, you can walk thru the store but we ask that you don take anything off the rack." was rude and tacky and quite frankly put a bad taste in my mouth for dress shopping. Even my 13 year old and her friend were disgusted. There are so many other ways this woman could have handled this situation. Without sharing names and giving too many details, one employee at another local David Bridal told a customer that what she chose wasn in fashion and even included "BITCH" in her choice of words. Funny thing is, this woman knows more about fashion than those employees could have possibly guessed. Ending result? She left crying. three years, this is the first negative review I have ever written. I have always been big on promoting the positive.

While I can not speak for stores out of my city, David Bridal, I am highly disappointed in your lack of customer service in my local stores. Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life, aside from giving birth. Treating your brides as we have been treated is disheartening.
